The 2018 Boys Elite Las Vegas Invitational (LVI) Champions, the Utah Cannibals, announce their Boys u18 Elite roster for the 2018 HSRC June 1st through June 3rd, 2018
Salt Lake City, UT – The Utah Cannibals was established in 2010 as a pathway to showcase Utah’s top up and coming high school rugby players. Since 2010, the Utah Cannibals have placed more than a dozen players in the HSAA program and many more have transitioned to Collegiate Rugby as well as Collegiate Football.
The 2018 Elite Boys LVI Champions will be fielding 10 players from the championship team at the 2018 High School Rugby Championships in Philadelphia, PA from June 1st through June 3rd. The team will be led by USA Rugby u20, Bailey Wilson.
“We are excited that we have Kingi (Fisiipeau) back from the injury he picked up in Las Vegas,” said Owen Power, President / Executive Director of Utah Youth Rugby. “He is an exciting young player and he adds a special dimension to this team.”
The Utah Cannibals will miss speedster Taysan Hammer (Herriman HS) who has left on an LDS Mission, but the inclusion of Isaiah Lapale (West Jordan Rugby Club) will soften the blow.
