The Leopards faced two varsity opponents this past weekend in Davis High School and Cyprus High School.  It was a great opportunity for everyone to play this past weekend.  A mixed side of players, freshman through senior, took the field for Davis.  East scored 3 tries and Davis scored 2 for a halftime score of 17 to 10.  The Leopards continued to battle in the second half and scored two more times.  The East team would win 29 to 22.  It was a great opportunity for guys to get some game time.

Another mixed side took the field for East to play first year program Cyprus High.  East would prevail throughout this match.

The last match of the day was played by the East Jr Rugby Program (7th and 8th graders) in their first official 15’s game.  They had a little bit of a slow start, spotting their opponent, United, 2 early scores.  It wasn’t long until the Junior Leopards found their way though, scoring 5 unanswered tries.  It was a great showing for all the East Rugby Teams.  We look forward to the future with these young guys coming up through the varsity program.
