The East High Rugby team had a full schedule this weekend.  The varsity played Davis High School on Friday night under the lights at the East.  Both East and Davis entered the contest with a 1-0 record in conference.  East got off to a quick start when they had a scrum from inside the Davis 10 meter line.  Loa Kaufusi took the ball from the back of the scrum for the score.  The momentum continued to build for the Leopards and they would score 5 more times in the first half.  It was a great team effort and plays were made by everyone on the field.  There was great support and great ball movement all around.  The other scores came from Pale Salt, Pate Langi, Jordan Anderson, Laseni Folau and Dylan Lines.  Connor Allison was 6 for 6 in the first half for conversions and 100% on the evening.  Davis scored toward the end of the half making the score at halftime East 42 Davis 7.

The Leopards continued to roll in the second half.  East would score 5 more times lead by Jordan Lolohea, Gavin Herd, Jadin Afuvai, Helaman Suesue and the final score by Jordan Anderson.  10 different players scoring tells the story of the match in the 71 to 21 win over Davis.  It was a great team effort.  The Leopards are now 2-0 in conference play.  Next up for the varsity is Olympus which is a non-conference game on Friday April 15, 2016.  This will be a great match against a very well coached opponent.
