This past weekend was conference championship week for the Bonneville Conference.  Both East and Herriman were undefeated in conference play going into the match.  The winner of the match would be the top seed out of the conference for the playoffs.  The match was going to be highly competitive.  Last year East upset Herriman to advance to the State Championship game.  It was a battle for the first 20 minutes of the match.  Herriman held a lead of 12 to 0.  East couldn’t quite capitalize on opportunities.  The match would eventually become lopsided with a final score East 7 – Herriman 57.
