East played 2 games this past weekend.  Both the Varsity Team and the 9/10 team played Olympus High School.  The varsity Olympus game was played at Olympus High School on a Friday night under the lights.  Olympus struck first on a quick penalty tap that went down the sideline.  Olympus would strike again taking a 14 to 0 lead.  East would answer about half way through the first half.  Loa Kaufusi picked a loose ball off of the edge of the break down from about 10 meters out.  The conversion was missed making the score East 5 Olympus 14.  Olympus would score one more time to end the first half East 5 Olympus 21.

Olympus would open the second half with the next and final score for them making it East 5 Olympus 28.  With about 20 minutes left in the match the Leopards picked up the pace.  Inoke Makoni made a heads up play grabbing a loose ball and splitting the Olympus defense for the score.  The conversion barely missed.  This provided a bit of a spark for East.  The next score would come off the back of the Scrum from Christian Folau.  Christian broke a couple of different tackles for the score.  With the conversion good the score was East 17 Olympus 28 which would end up as the final result.
