USA Rugby has rolled out a new program specifically for ladies rugby prospects. Basically the USA Olympic committe has committed time, energy and dollars to USA Rugby to help develop womens rugby in the USA prior to the upcoming rugby competition in the Rio Olympics.

The USA mens teams are progressing well but not percieved as a realistic potential winner in the olympics. But the womens teams are consistently the top two or three in the world the USOC has stepped up their support of womens rugby. 

What does this mean for our girls? It means that there are more opportunities than ever to play rugby on representaative teams, national teams, and colleges. It also means that the exponential growth of ladies rugby will be increasing in pace and there are a number of opportunities for women young and... more than young.
