Level 100 serves as an introduction to the game of Rugby and the basics of the coaching process. Completion of this course is required prior to attending a Level 200 course.

While USA Rugby finishes the Level 100 online course, coaches can complete the IRB Rugby Ready course to receive equivalency for Level 100 accreditation. 

To complete the IRB Rugby Ready online module:

1. Go to http://www.irbrugbyready.com/ and click on the Register button.
2. Enter your personal information and create a Username and Password.
3. Complete all 12 of the lessons marked with an “X.” These lessons are called

• Pre-participation
• Equipment, environment and emergency plan
• Warm up,” Cool down
• Physical Conditioning
• Lifestyle,” “Taking the ball into contact
• The tackle
• Ruck and Maul
• The scrum
• the lineout
• Injury management
